PRODUCT SAMPLES OF SHIELDING MATERIALS TO ASSIST IN DECISIONS

A service of SFERICS® is the FREE product sample of our shielding materials “Shielding fabric” and “Shielding fabric”. The requested sample has a sufficient size of up to 10 x 10 cm and gives you a first feeling for the shielding material and its processability. This is ideal for carrying out preliminary material tests such as adhesion to the substrate, bonding or sewing.Our test samples are too small for a screening test. See our info box below for more information.

Please remember to fill out the order form completely INCLUDING your phone number. And please also use the comments field on the checkout page for questions about the selected product.Prior to dispatch, we will contact you by telephone if necessary to guarantee the qualified or suitable use of the requested product samples for the planned shielding project and to answer any questions about the shielding material or shielding fabric.

Up to 3 free material samples are possible. From the 4th piece onwards, we charge 50 cents postage per sample, including for the first 3 test samples. We send a maximum of 1 free product sample per variant. If multiple samples of the same material variant are needed, please inquire via email.

We generally send test samples via the fast Priority letter shipping of the Austrian Post. We only charge a letter postage of € 3,10 for this shipment in Austria and Germany. There is no tracking link available for tracking the shipment. A repeat free shipment is not possible – by ordering this shipping option, this restriction is accepted.

When ordering samples along with other products, we try to carry out this shipment together. If this is not possible due to logistical issues, these samples will be sent separately and without additional charge, subject to the same restrictions of mail delivery.

Shipping with registered mail

For shipping via registered mail, we charge a letter postage of €5.60. This shipment is fully insured, meaning that in the event of a loss of the shipment, we can repeat the shipping free of charge. Moreover, this method of shipping is significantly faster.

All of our shielding materials have been “scrutinized” in the professional EMF laboratory. Corresponding shielding attenuation values ​​and test reports are available for download directly on the product page at the bottom.

Signal strength bar on the mobile phone displayA self-check of our materials for their shielding attenuation with our own broadband measuring devices and ESPECIALLY OUTSIDE a shielded room or laboratory is not or only slightly expedient. Very often we also experience that people try to test the performance of shielding materials with their mobile phone, i.e. the smartphone will be wrapped in the shielding fabric or laid in the canopy, sleeping bag or shielded room and then call it. If the phone then rings, the shielding material is perceived poorly. Technically, unfortunately, a huge error!

The layman completely disregards the fact that a mobile phone has the technical ability to compensate, i.e. a bad network is compensated for by increasing its own transmission power. Furthermore, the network display with 4 bars at the top of the display does not provide any information on the EMF field strength of the mobile network used, but only how well a telephone call can be made in the current network. Whether your organism is irradiated by 10,000, 100,000 or 1,000,000 µW/m² are always 4 bars. If, due to the selected shielding material, the power flux density of the EMF immission on one’s own body is reduced from 35,000 µW/m² to well below 100 µW/m², even below 10 µW/m², 3 or 4 bars remain on the display – despite the massive Difference for the body cells and nervous system.

And the level of expansion of the wireless network of the provider selected via SIM also makes a huge difference – if the wireless network is bad, it can also be due to the wrong provider for this region. Let’s never forget the time axis – just because the load value is small at the moment of measurement, it doesn’t have to stay that way – especially not over years and decades. Therefore, the decision to EMF shield a single place in life, ideally the bed or the entire bedroom, is always a good, important and forward-looking decision and prophylaxis. Protect your restful sleep – your body will thank you with energy and health.

Conclusion: Not a single mobile phone is suitable as a measuring device or control system for electrosmog. Without exception!

    The material does its job. That is the main thing. Now I am thinking about where I can put it. It is not long enough for my living room, which is a shame because I have an even stronger transmission mast there. It is too long for my son’s bed (to build a Faraday cage), it would be a waste. I am now thinking about sewing it to the curtains in the kitchen and children’s room.

      Hello, Sandow. Because the material is available in all lengths, it is not possible to have a piece that is “too short”. Just calculate the number of running meters you need and it will fit. The curtain will then be sewn so that the individual pieces go vertically from top to bottom. Depending on the chosen material, one piece is 1.4 m to 2.5 m wide. Finally, a lead strip should be stuck underneath to weigh it down.
