LED bulb in this quality class are state of the art in lighting technology and are highly recommended in terms of building biology. The light output corresponds to that of an 40 watts light bulb. This bio light LED lamp produces a friendly warm white light and is almost flicker free. The measured value of the pulsating light is less than 1 percent.
This 4.2 watts filament Pure-Z-Retro LED can be used with any lamp with E27 socket.

4.2 watts LED filament Pure-Z-Retro with E27 base. A natural feel-good factor BIO LIGHT with high colour rendering CRI > 90 and almost “flicker-free” light quality. Warm white at 2700 Kelvin. As bright as a 40 watts light bulb. Not dimmable.
The almost continuous spectrum of the light emitted is close to that of incandescent or halogen lamps, but without the proportion of thermal radiation (IR or infrared radiation).
Details make all the difference. This is especially true for LED’s!
The colour rendering index (Ra or CRI) describes the effect of light on the colour appearance of objects by comparison with daylight (not dependent on colour temperature). Incandescent lamps have a CRI of 100, this LED a very good CRI of 94.
The colour temperature is a measure of the respective colour impression of a light source. Warm light colours (warm white, 2700 K) have a low Kelvin number, cold light colours (cold white, 5000 K) have a high Kelvin number.
The light exit angle of almost 360º is very well suited for all applications where incandescent lamps were previously used.
LED lamps are made of a semiconductor and operated with an integrated ballast. The resulting voltage generates “light flicker” (pulsation). This pulsation could be reduced to a minimum (below 1 %) with the “filament” LED.
ElectrosmogElectrosmog is a colloquial term for all emissions from electric, magnetic, and electromagnetic fields. More: The Pure-Z-Retro LED was designed to generate small technical fields comparable to those of a light bulb.
Consideration of the time of day: The light spectrum of the “filament” has a slightly higher blue component compared to incandescent lamps or halogen lamps. According to medical experts, this influences the human waking state or sleep (melatonin formation). We therefore recommend using LEDs in “active areas” (desks, kitchens, corridor lighting, etc.), at reading places in the evenings, at bedside tables or in the period before going to bed, to continue using incandescent lamps or G9 halogen lamps.

Pay attention to healthy light when buying lamps!
Healthy light from a building biology point of view, is a light source with a
- lowest flicker – as close as possible to 0 Hz (HertzThe Hertz (Hz) is the unit used to measure frequency. Hertz gives the numbers of repeated oscillations (processes) per second. More)
- The light spectrum/colour spectrum should be as natural as possible, without the usual excessive blue light component of an LED, for example. This serves to protect the macula (prophylaxis against early macular degeneration).
- Color temperature warm white, 2700 K (Kelvin) in living areas
- Unfortunately, the classic light bulb was banned. Good alternatives are: the halogen lamp G9 or the handle to high-quality LED light.
