The RDF62 shielding window film provides a shielding attenuation of up to 18 dB and can therefore only be used sensibly at low loads. Building biology recommendation: Preference for shielding curtains – ALWAYS!
This self-adhesive RDF62 special film is coated in precious metal and suited for protecting from high-frequency electromagnetic radiation caused by mobile radiation from transmitters, mobile phones, smartphones, WLAN, etc. It is typically stuck on the inside of windows without glazing.
We only recommend using it for low exposure because of its low screening attenuation of up to 18 dB. When using the shieldingShielding is the protection from the effects of external fault zones and environmental influences (on a person's health most of the time). More window film, the window frame remains unprotected because the attenuation is weak. Generally, shielding curtains should always be preferred. However, there are uses that make shielding window films useful, such as on windows and doors inside buildings.
This RDF62 shielding film’s light transmission is 62 %. RDF62 has an appropriate ratio of quality, light transmission, light discoloration and good screening attenuation.

Only use indoors on glass surfaces WITHOUT GLAZING!
Thermal glazing is already metalized. If solar radiation permeates the metallization and then hits the shielding window film, multi-reflection may occur. The window frame heats up needlessly and can thus cause leaks or even cracks by expansion of the frame! Always find out the glass type!
Processing of the HF electrosmog shielding window film RDF62
The bubble-free application of the shielding film is not simple and it is recommended to do with another person.
First, remove all unevenness and dirt on the glass with a cleansing extract and glass plane. Then, thoroughly clean the glass with window cleaner. Remove the protective film from the shielding film. Distill FMK30 mounting concentrate with 0.5 liter of water! Dilute the water and spray the window surface as well as the adhesive side of the shielding film. Put the window film on the window pane and work from the middle to the outside and remove the air bubbles with the scraper FVR10.
