Halogen bulbs 33 watt with G9 socket convince on full length. Corresponds to a 40 watt light bulb in terms of light output. Small and powerful, this halogen bulb produces a friendly warm white light and also saves up to 50% electricity compared to the classic incandescent bulb.
In conjunction with a G9 adapter, this halogen bulb can also be operated on an E14 or E27 socket.

Halogen bulbs with a G9 base are the last light source to survive the artificial death of the good old Edison bulb in the EU. Just like the incandescent bulb, halogen bulbs contain a filament that is made to glow by the current flow. The result is a continuous luminous flux that produces a more yellowish-orange light (similar to the evening sunset). The result is a high quality of light! All halogen lamps are free of the toxic heavy metal mercury!

EU regulation on the phasing out or prohibition of incandescent lamps
The EU regulation on the phase-out of incandescent lamps (incandescent lamp ban) has provided for the exception for the particularly small G9 lamp, as the bulky compact fluorescent lamps do not fit in various filigree luminaires. Halogen lamps with G9 bases may therefore continue to be produced. They can therefore also be used in the future.
Advantages of the G9 bulb in a nutshell
G9 halogen incandescent lamps provide high light quality with higher lumen values (lm) for more light and lower wattages (W) for lower power consumption. This results in effective lm/W values.

| Important information | ATTENTION: Always disconnect the mains plug of the lamp before changing the base! When changing the bulb, make sure that it is still hot and could cause burns. Furthermore, when inserting the bulb into the base, avoid direct contact with the skin in order to avoid grease spots and thus extend the service life of the bulb. |

Pay attention to healthy light when buying lamps!
Healthy light from a building biology point of view, is a light source with a

- The light spectrum/colour spectrum should be as natural as possible, without the usual excessive blue light component of an LED, for example. This serves to protect the macula (prophylaxis against early macular degeneration).
- Color temperature warm white, 2700 K (Kelvin) in living areas
- Unfortunately, the classic light bulb was banned. Good alternatives are: the halogen lamp G9 or the handle to high-quality LED light.
