With this box canopy, our CANOPY ELECTROSMOG PRO FOR SINGLE BED, you invest in a personal all-round protection against electrosmog. Because this canopy set contains everything that is needed, each individual part needs to be explained in detail:

Canopy for single beds

The canopy surrounds and protects you from 5 directions – the 4 sides and the ceiling. On the top four corners, there are loops that the canopy is hung to. Each corner is connected to the next with a “fabric tunnel” in which a wooden bar can be inserted. This stabilizes it and is available in all DIY stores. These bars are not included in this set. The set contains the necessary mounting equipment to fix it to the ceiling. Drilling the ceiling may be required – have an appropriate drill ready (if needed).

Shielding flooring underlay

The flooring underlay is made of different material layers. Additional silver threads are interwoven on the underside, which is what makes the flooring underlay electrically conductive and gives it a protective effect. The flooring underlay is laid out on the floor and then the bed is put on the underlay. The feet of the bed can no longer touch the ground underneath.

Grounding plates

The set contains two grounding plates. One is attached to the canopy and the other is attached to the shielding flooring underlay. The conductive material can be contacted thanks to these plates and can be connected to the socket’s earth. You can choose between velcro fastener and magnetic lock.

Grounding cable for the grounding plates

This short cable has a gilded pin on each end. The cable connects the grounding plate on the canopy to the grounding plate on the shielding flooring underlay. Because both grounding plates are right next to each other most of the time, the short, 20-centimeter-long cable is usually enough.

Grounding plugs for specific countries

Depending on the location of usage, another type of plug might be needed. Choose the right plug for the country it is mainly used in. The optional world plug set expands this individual plug into a connection option in the whole world. However, the world plug set is not designed for permanent use, therefore the individual grounding plug is absolutely necessary.

OPTIONAL: Quick verification of the earth contact on the socket

With this socket checker, checking the socket’s earth will be a matter of plugging in. You will find out in just seconds whether or not your canopy or sleeping bag can effectively connect to the earth. We know from practice that there are many reasons that an earth cannot be connected – from the cable breaking to the electrician simply forgetting during construction. If the earth cannot be connected, the canopy can fail to protect people sleeping in it from electric alternating fields from the power supply despite the preparation.

OPTIONAL: Earthing rod for a reliable earth

It is as tragic as it sounds. It is possible that the earth is not connected to the socket or that such a socket is not even provided in that country. Or, the installed grounding cable is damaged and no one has noticed. Whatever the reason may be, you will solve the problem with this earthing rod. Just put it in the ground, outside of the flat, house, caravan, or tent and connect it to the sleeping back – that’s it.

Borrow for familiarity / Cancelling orders

Every canopy is a unique piece. The canopy is produced on behalf of the customer, so there is also a waiting time due to waiting lists and production to Auslierung. This results in the possibility of producing special sizes (longer, wider, higher). Since every single canopy is a commissioned production, there is no possibility to cancel the order. Nevertheless, it is our concern that the customer only buys a canopy if he wants to keep it. For this reason, we offer the possibility of a loan of the canopy for testing and getting to know by a flat rate of € 298 for up to 14 days. This possibility of borrowing allows the customer to personally convince himself of the effect of the canopy without risk. If a purchased canopy is nevertheless returned contrary to these conditions of revocation, then we are forced to offer this reduced price as a “used canopy” in the shop, ie. the repayment amount will be reduced by at least € 300 to cover loss of value, cleaning costs and processing costs (any damage to the canopy will increase the price reduction).

The canopy changes color!

Silver products change color as time goes by and very often have stains from the factory, which is neither a lack of quality nor grounds for complaint. Especially if the used silver does not have a protective coating and has been in contact with air, causing oxidation. If stains or discolorations are unacceptable, we recommend choosing the Electrosmog WIFI canopy. Please note that silver products have a limited durability, their lifespan depends on how often they are moved. Please take care when washing the canopy. Neither the canopy nor the fabric contains nano-silver!
