The canopy ElectrosmogElectrosmog is a colloquial term for all emissions from electric, magnetic, and electromagnetic fields. More PRO offers all-round protection against electrosmog HF and LF. However, accessories are necessary for the shielding of low-frequency electric alternating fields (LF) from the house current.

Possibly the canopy Electrosmog PRO was ordered without these accessories. Or the decision to activate the earthing function of the canopy is made later. With this earthing set it is possible to use the canopy with the full potential and effect against electrosmog and thus to extend it to the complete canopy Electrosmog PRO set for single beds. All optional accessories are also available.

Shielding flooring underlay

As option this set contains one floor pads, which consist of two layers of fabric – white and grey. On the grey underside, stainless steel threads are interwoven, making the floor underlays electrically conductive and also providing a shielding effect. The floor underlay is laid on the floor with the grey side down and the bed is then placed on the white side of the floor underlay. The feet of the bed must stand completely on the floor underlay.

Grounding plates

The set contains two grounding plates with velcro fastener. One is attached to the canopy and one to the shielding floor underlay. Through these plates, the electrically conductive side of the floor underlay can be contacted and connected to the grounding in the socket.

All grounding cables are equipped with two high-quality gold-plated connection pins. The grounding cables included in the set are used to connect the floor underlay to the canopy, thus forming a single unit.

Grounding plugs for specific countries

Depending on the country, an appropriate plug shape is required. Select the correct plug type for the country in which the canopy is used. The optional world plug set then extends this single plug for use throughout the world. However, the world plug set is not structurally designed for permanent use, so a single, separate grounding plug for the main site is absolutely necessary.

OPTIONAL: Quick verification of the earth contact on the socket

With this socket tester, checking the wiring and grounding of the socket becomes a simple plugging task. Even if this cannot replace the professional check by the electrician, it is still a quick informative check. In a fraction of a second it becomes clear whether the canopy can be connected to this desired socket to conduct the alternating electric field. From practice we know that there are several reasons why the grounding of the socket does not work properly – starting with a broken cable and ending with the simple forgetting by the electrician. If the earthing is not connected, the canopy cannot protect the sleeping person from low-frequency alternating electric fields NF.

OPTIONAL: Earthing rod for a reliable earth

It’s actually as dramatic as it sounds. It happens from time to time that the grounding spring at the power outlet is not or no longer connected to the equipotential bonding rail (earth) of the house or there is no grounding conductor at all (with very old electrical installations). Whatever the reason, this earthing rod will solve this problem. Just plug it into the ground in the garden, fix the grounding cable to it and the other end of the grounding cable to the canopy. Done. With this variant of earthing, there is another advantage at the same time: Earthing! This direct contact to the ground is the best and highest quality way of an Earthing connection.

OPTIONAL: Worldwide use of the Electrosmog PRO canopy with our World Plug Set

With this worldwide compatible plug set it is possible to use our canopy Elektrosmog PRO around the globe. The application remains as simple as at home. Simply connect the canopy and the shielding floor underlay with this world plug using a long grounding cable and plug it into the wall socket. But don’t forget to check the earthing beforehand!
