5.5 watt LED G9 by DANELL | CRI 95 | bright like 41 watts, 485 lumen | warm white (2970 K) | flicker-free (< 1%), G9 base (halogen)

19.99

5.5 watt LED G9 bulbs in this quality class are state-of-the-art lighting technology and are highly recommended from a building biology point of view.

Equivalent in light output to a 41 watts halogen bulb with a high colour rendering index CRI 95. This LED lamp produces a friendly, warm white light and is almost flicker-free. The measured value of the pulsating light is less than 1 percent.

This 5.5 watt LED G9 can be used in many lamps with G9 socket.

Delivery time: approx. 1-3 working days | formerly energy class A+

5.5 watt LED G9 by DANELL | CRI 95 | bright like 41 watts, 485 lumen | warm white (2970 K) | flicker-free (< 1%), G9 base (halogen)

5.5 watt LED with G9 base. A natural feel-good light in the same size as the previous halogen G9 bulb. “Flicker-free” light quality with good CRI 95. Warm white at 2970 kelvin. As bright as a 41 watts halogen bulb. Not dimmable.

The almost continuous spectrum of the emitted light is close to that of halogen lamps, but without the proportion of thermal radiation (IR or infrared radiation). This G9 LED produces a uniform, sunlight-like feel-good light in which the flicker content has been reduced to a minimum of < 1 % – an ingenious replacement for the previous halogen G9 light source.

Instead of the halogen bulb ban in September 2021 or September 2023, it is now possible to switch to this new G9 LED model, which is healthy from a building biology point of view. For further information, please visit:

CRI 95. Small detail, big effect!

The colour rendering index (Ra or CRI) describes the effect of light on the colour appearance of objects by comparison with daylight (not dependent on colour temperature). Incandescent lamps have a very high CRI of up to 100, this LED achieves the incredible Ra or CRI of 95. The higher the CRI is at 100, the more natural and real colours are.

The colour temperature is a measure of the respective colour impression of a light source. Warm light colours (warm white, 2700 K) have a low Kelvin number, cold light colours (cold white, 5000 K) have a high Kelvin number.

The light exit angle of 360º is very well suited for all applications where incandescent lamps have been used up to now. Ideal for lighting an entire room as all-round light.

LED lamps are made of a semiconductor and operated with an integrated ballast. The resulting voltage generates “light flicker” (pulsation). This pulsation could be reduced to a minimum (below 1 %) with the “filament” LED.

Electrosmog: This LED was designed to generate small technical fields comparable to those of a halogen bulb.

Pay attention to healthy light when buying lamps!
Healthy light from a building biology point of view, is a light source with a

  • lowest flicker – as close as possible to 0 Hz (Hertz)
  • The light spectrum/colour spectrum should be as natural as possible, without the usual excessive blue light component of an LED, for example. This serves to protect the macula (prophylaxis against early macular degeneration).
  • Color temperature warm white, 2700 K (Kelvin) in living areas
  • Unfortunately, the classic light bulb was banned. Good alternatives are: the halogen lamp G9 or the handle to high-quality LED light.
